Stay
Artists, researchers, scientists, Ph.D.
students and others, from Denmark or from other countries, may apply
for a period of time at the Klitgaarden Refugium.
Klitgaarden's season – for single
workers as well as for groups of workers – begins in early January
and ends in the middle of December. „Refugieophold“, i.e. working in
peaceful, tranquil surroundings, in periods of up to a week or more,
are primarily meant for single workers. „Symposieophold“ are meant
for groups of workers from Universities, university-like
institutions, artistic societies etc, of up to twenty people,
usually with a duration of a couple of days.
Klitgaarden can accommodate thirteen
guests in single rooms and two guests in one double room. If needed,
further bed facilities can be arranged in lodgings in the vicinity
of Klitgaarden.
Workers applying for time at the
Klitgaarden Refugium will usually be required to provide a
certification to guarantee that their stay has a professional, not
merely a recreational purpose.
However, workers from universities,
similar institutions, or members of Dansk Kunstnerråd ( Society of
Danish Artists), whose stay at the Klitgaarden is sponsored by these
institutions or organizations, will not be required to provide such
certifications.
Researchers and scientists may apply
for EEC support or sponsorship under the EEC's 5. Program for
Research and Technological Development, viz.
